Bobbie Jean Altizer, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2021 after a long illness. Mrs. Altizer was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Douglas Altizer. She is survived by her daughter Darla Brantley, her son David Altizer (Betty), and her son Tommy Altizer (Delleen), her 6 wonderful grandchildren, Erin Sheldon (Kevin), Becky Glover (Donnie), Tammy Brawner (Hoke), Justin Altizer, Brian Brantley (Emily) and Jesse Altizer (Samantha). She was blessed with 10 great grand children, Ashlie and Leslie Wiggins, Miranda Wallbank, Alivia, Trista and Melanie Chaney, Emma and Natalie Desper, Tab Brawner and Paisley Altizer, as well as 2 great great grandchildren, Bentley Russell and Quinn Wiggins. There will be a private service for the family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the James City Volunteer Rescue Squad and James City Bruton Volunteer Fire Department in Toano, VA.
