Karen D. (Foster) Glover
Karen D. (Foster) Glover died peacefully in her sleep, on August 11, 2018, after a long battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. Born in Erie, Pa., on January 17, 1951, Karen was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Eleanor M. (Ekey) Foster. After a long career as a Kidney Dialysis Technician, Karen earned her Nursing Degree and served in numerous nursing positions throughout the United States. Karen is survived by her three children who were the light of her life: Christopher Zachary (Jennifer) Glover of Canal Fulton, Ohio, Joshua Thomas Glover of Hornell, New York, and Kaitlyn Sarah (Mathew Garvey) Glover. Karen is also survived by her grandson Andrew James Glover of the United States Navy. She is further survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and by her former husband Thomas W. Glover, Jr. of Erie. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Vincent House, 310 2nd Avenue Wayland, New York 14572, who provided Karen with outstanding hospice care in her final days. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, September 14, 2018 in the Mausoleum at the Erie County Memorial Gardens followed by interment.
