June M. McIntosh Nov 3, 1939 - Jul 29, 2018 June M McIntosh, 78, of Nokomis, formerly of Rochester Hills, MI, passed away on July 29, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones. June was born in Detroit, MI to Virginia and Gerald Nickles. She graduated from Livonia Bentley High School. After raising her family she attended Macomb College and in 1979 graduated with a nursing degree. June worked as a RN specializing in cardiac care and finished her career as a hospice nurse. Predeceased by her parents and brother Gerald Nickles; June is survived by her husband Paul, children Sharon, Julie and John, stepchildren Holly, Amy (Dan) and Heather, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. June was a 32-year member of Friends of Bill W. June was always adventurous; she and friend Mary appeared as movie extras in the film "64", and hang glided off a mountain in Tennessee. June loved her volunteer work for the Mote Turtle Patrol on Casey Key with her mentor/Partner Maureen Snyder.
