Joyce H. Brinker Hartz BETHLEHEM Joyce H. Brinker Hartz, 91, of Bethlehem, PA, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at ManorCare of Bethlehem. Born May 10, 1928, in Allentown, PA, Joyce was a daughter of the late Herman and Isabelle (Hardner) Weil. She was a 1946 graduate of Allentown High School and a graduate of Allentown Business College. She had been the director of the Spring Garden Children's Center. Joyce was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Easton, and active with the choir and Sunday school. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a volunteer for the Allentown Art Museum and State Theatre. She is survived by her four children, Charles Brinker II (wife Barbara) of Bethlehem, Janis Brinker (spouse Cindy) of Yarmouth Port, MA, Patrice Smith (husband Richard) of Newmanstown, PA and Bret Brinker (wife Cindy) of Bethlehem; her sister, Marlene Edinger in Wisconsin; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husbands, Dr. Charles Brinker and David Hartz. Services are private; the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton, PA, is handling arrangements.
