Joseph G. Milstein February 14, 1933 - March 4, 2011 Born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Miami Beach, Dr. Milstein attended the University of Florida and the University of Miami Medical School. He moved to Los Angeles in 1959 and was a revered OB/GYN at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center until his retirement in 1996. During his 37 years in practice, he lovingly cared for his patients and brought thousands of babies into the world. A kind and gentle man with a unique sense of humor, he deeply loved his family and the Boston Red Sox. Dr. Milstein is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Eileen (Sloan) Milstein; his brother Marvin (Doris) Miles; his children, Mark (Angela), Robert, and Jeffrey (Christie); his grandchildren, Emma, Grace, Ben, Binyam and Jimmy; his sister-in-law Marsha (Harry) Adler; and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 8 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park, Los Angeles.
