Joseph A. Rizzio; 74 of Wayne, NJ, formerly of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2019, at Lakeland Health Care Center, Haskell, NJ. Joseph was born in Jersey City and has resided in Bayonne most of his life. He attended daily activities at the New Jersey Elks Developmental Disability Agency in Clifton. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Mets and Jets. Beloved Son of the late Anna M. (Nee:Vargo) and Joseph T. Rizio. Cherished Brother of Christina Maak and her late Husband George. Loving Uncle of Dominick Maak and his Wife Barbara, Step-Uncle of Vincent, Douglas and Kenneth Maak. Dear Great Uncle of George, James, Anthony, and Daniel Maak. Devoted Nephew of Rose Montanelli. He is also survived by several Cousins. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Viewing on Wednesday, April 17th from 4 - 8 PM at the G. Keenen O'Brien Funeral Home, 984 Avenue C, Bayonne. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 10 AM at the Funeral Home. Cremation to follow, Rosehill Crematory.
