John E. Hawk Lincoln, 64 of Brockton, passed away August 29, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Debra E. (Johnson) Lincoln of 45 years. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late James and Ruth (Shackleton) Lincoln. John was a life long resident of Brockton. He worked as a truck driver and was the owner of a small family business with his son John. He loved to tell stories and enjoyed cars, antique cars, going to car shows and music. But mostly he was a big family man that enjoyed spending time with his family and where ever he went he would make a new friend. In addition to his wife Debra he is survived by his three children Kara Sheldon and her husband Paul of Canada, John E. Lincoln, Jr. and Sherri Lincoln of NH and Leah Lincoln and her finance Bill Nordquist of Brockton; 6 grandchildren Robert, Danielle, Haley, Katelyn, Alyssa and Jessica. He is also survived by his siblings, brother and best friend Danny Lincoln and his wife Michelle, sister Ruthie Lincoln LaBrie and her husband Don, sister Linda Weir and her husband Bob, brother Jimmy Lincoln and his wife Tanya, sister Cindy Lincoln, late sister Lorraine Tratzinski and late brother James Lincoln; two sister in laws Nancy Johnson and Jean Bowles and her husband Dave and many nieces and nephews.
