Jesus Teran, 91, of Imperial, CA passed away of natural causes on Friday, January 17, 2020 in El Centro, CA. Jesus was born on July 28, 1928 in Moctezuma, Sonora, MX. Jesus worked for many years at Borchard Land and Cattle as a foreman, later he worked for John and Patricia Veysey as a groundsman. Upon retirement he became a gardener and ran his small business for some years until finally completely retiring. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved watching baseball, soccer and telenovelas. He loved the RAIN!!! He is survived by his beloved wife, Bertha Teran; sons, Hector (Sandra) Teran of El Centro, CA and Jesus (Rebecca) Teran Jr. of Imperial, CA; daughters, Beatriz Teran of Imperial, CA, Silvia Teran (Anthony) Matan of San Jose, CA and Maria Antonieta Teran of Imperial, CA; grandchildren, Sarah, Raquel and Belen Fimbres, Alysa, Clarissa and Hector Teran, Joseph and Pablo Jesus Matan, Kimberly and Lilian Teran, and Maya Teran Arviso. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. at St. Anthony's Church in Imperial, CA. Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10 a.m. with Father Alex Aquino at St. Anthony's Church in Imperial, CA. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, CA.
