In memory of
Jane Ann Jorgensen
Jane Ann Jorgensen Jane Ann Jorgensen, 58, formerly of Red Wing, MN, died unexpectedly of a sudden coronary event at her home on June 26, 2016. Jane was born in Red Wing, MN on September 30, 1957. She attended college at Central Washington University, graduating with degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She spent her entire career advocating for the rights and protection of children with her last jobs being at Washington State Department of Social & Health Services, and, most recently, as a consultant in the industry. Jane had a multitude of hobbies and interests. She loved gardening, quilting, reading, glass fusing and travelling. Her greatest love, however, was for the four-legged friends who served as her children. Aldi, Josie, Sadie, Velcro, and Saucer were the five dogs lucky enough to have been rescued and loved by Jane throughout the years. Jane is survived by her mother Elaine, three sisters, five nieces & nephews, and her dog Saucer. She was preceded in death by her father George. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Red Wing, MN on Thursday, July 7th at 11 AM. Memorials are preferred to Harmony Hills Retreat Center in Union, WA or to Center Valley Animal Rescue in Quilcene, WA.
