James Wilson II
James Phillip Wilson, II, 48, passed away on Sept. 1, 2018, at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. His cremated remains will be spread in the Bering Sea and Pacific Ocean. James was born on July 11, 1970, in Panorama City, Calif. He graduated from Hondo High School in 1988. He has made his home in Homer, Alaska in 2006. James enjoyed salmon, crab and cod fishing; research and exploration. He loved, loved, loved Kharacters in Homer and all the good people there. He could fix anything and everything. He enjoyed woodworking, boats and photography. He was an adventurer and world traveler. James was a Maui enthusiast and his most recent world travel was to Cambodia. His mother wrote: "My son, James, loved traveling around the world and meeting people just like his father before him." James is survived by his mother, Linda Wilson Grant of Hondo, Texas; sister, Lara Wilson Olivarez and her husband Roland Olivarez of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Andrew Grant of San Antonio; aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, James Phillip Wilson (1970).
