Jack L. Cohen Former owner of Made in America in Westfield; WWII veteran Jack L. Cohen, 97, of Monroe, N.J., died peacefully at home on Aug. 15, 2019, with his daughter at his side. Services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, N.J. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he served as a sergeant at Guadalcanal. Mr. Cohen had been the owner of Made in America in Westfield, N.J., for many years. He was a member of the board of Children's Specialized Hospital, the first Jewish president of the Rotary Club of Westfield, and was active in organizations fighting cerebral palsy. Mr. Cohen was predeceased by his beloved wife, Frances, and a son, Gary. Surviving are his daughter, Barbara (Vincent Frasco); his son, Don (Rochelle); his grandson, David (Carolynn); daughter-in-law, Marcia Cohen, and two great-grandchildren, Lilly Grace and Grayson Cohen.
