Herman J. Heintz La Quinta - It is with great sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of Herman J. Heintz of La Quinta, CA. Herman was born in Indio on August 19, 1959, the son of Herman H. Heintz and Mary Louise Castro. He attended high school in Coachella and Calexico, where he focused on his favorite "subject", baseball. Herman had a long career, spending the last 40 years with the Imperial Irrigation District. An avid outdoorsman, Herman enjoyed camping, hiking, and was always known to have a fishing pole nearby. A loving father and grandfather, Herman is survived by his children Nathan, Andrew, Katrine, Kimberly, Brian, and Jacob, and his nine grandchildren. His energy, laughter, and humor will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at the Wallin Funeral Home in Sanger, CA.
