Henry David Faulkner Evansville, Ind. Henry David Faulkner, 77, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at his home. Dave was born in Memphis, Tennessee on October 20, 1941 to the late Oliver and Jessie (Legge) Faulkner. He honorably served in the United States Navy as a photographer and continued his passion for photography throughout his life, even developing pictures for Jacqueline Kennedy. Dave retired from Inland Container after 40 years of service. He was a longtime member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and currently a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Dave enjoyed cars, traveling the country, NASCAR, and horse racing. He was an avid Indiana University fan and was very proud that all three of his grandchildren graduated from there. Dave is survived by his wife of 57 years, Paulette Sue (Brown) Faulkner of Evansville, IN; daughter, Wendy Anson (David) of Evansville, IN; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Faulkner of Evansville, IN; six half sisters; two half brothers; and grandchildren, Jared David Anson, Mallory Jo Anson, and Haley Lynn Anson. Dave was preceded in death by his son in 2016, Joseph David Faulkner; his parents; and two half brothers. A celebration of Dave's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. A private burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military honors. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
