Helen Mary Catherine (Roos) Wagner
Helen Mary Catherine Wagner was born to Alfred Peter Roos and Mary Catherine (Bachman) Roos on Feb. 16, 1933. She passed away May 25, 2018. She attended Our Lady of Lordes Catholic School in Queen's Village, N.Y., and went to Jamaica Vocational High School. Helen moved to Delaware in 1965 and worked for Delaware Trust Company, then going on to work for Caesar Rodney Senior High School. She is survived by her husband, Luther C. Wagner (Felton); two children: Steven I. Boylan (Smyrna) and daughter, Maureen (Paul) Welsh (Magnolia); two grandchildren: Steven A. Boylan and Nicole R. Boylan (Smyrna) and five great grandchildren: Kayden, Madison, Mackenzie, Mike and Douglas. Mrs. Wagner is preceded in death by her parents and older sibling, Agnes La Vigne. Her remaining siblings: Irene Haupe (Dover), Mildred Caldwell and Robert J. Roos (Milford). Helen spent her remaining hours at the Seasons Hospice of Christiana. Thank you for all the wonderful care, and a special thank you to Linda for all she did. Helen will be remembered for her sense of humor and willingness to help others. Thank you also to Pippin Funeral Home who handled the memorial service, and to Cathy Crusco for her gift of music.
