Harold Edward Adkins Jr. Harold E. Adkins Jr., 70, also known as "Butch" and "Harry" to friends and family passed away on August 24, 2018 in The Toledo Hospital. He was born in Toledo to Tillie and Harold Adkins Sr. who preceded him. Butch was a graduate of Northwood High School and attended Bowling Green State University. He was employed by Valley Farms Foods before moving to Tarrytown, NY where he worked as a bank maintenance supervisor. Before he retired, he was employed as a hotel night auditor for Marriot. Butch enjoyed buying and selling antiques, reading and writing. He is survived by his siblings, Patricia (Jim) Mohn, Charlotte Adkins, Debra Adkins, Carol (Rick) Monroe; nieces and nephews, Carlotta (Bob) Larkin, William (Luci) Corradino, Harold (Colleen) Corradino, Christine (Vito) Ramirez, Thomas Frederick, Jack (Leslie) Mohn, Joel (Jasmine) Mohn, Burt Monroe, Molly Monroe as well as several great and great-great-nieces and nephews; cousins, Melvin (Annette) Wicks, Valerie Harris; lifelong friends Cheryl (Kevin) Ruddel and her daughter Zenith (David) Jakubowski, Floyd Simon and Barbara Robinson. His family wishes to extend special thanks to all those for the excellent care that Harold received. Friends are invited to visit in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania Ave. on Monday, September 17th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. to celebrate Harold's life. Burial will be private in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
