Gerald W. Worman
Gerald W. Worman Loving husband, father and grandfather Gerald W. Worman, 80, of Union, N.J., and formerly of Berkeley Heights, N.J., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, at Crandford Health & Care Center. Gerald was born on Feb. 3, 1939, in Elizabeth, N.J. He was the son of the late William and Anna (nee Haker) Worman. He was a graduate of Jonathan Dayton High School, Springfield, N.J. Jerry worked as a manager at Baron's Drugstore, Westfield, N.J., for over 40 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching anything sports related on the TV. Jerry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sarah (Ceglia) Worman. He was also the loving father of daughters, Celia Lauer and husband, John, and Donna Worman. In addition, he was survived by a granddaughter, Jamiee Lauer; sister, Nancy Frodelly, five nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Donahue. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, Aug. 18, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family, c/o Bradley & Son Funeral Homes, LLC., 345 Main St., Chatham, N.J. 07928.
