HAWKINS, Geneva Ann ShearonAugust 30, 1929-November 1, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, Alva C. and Mary J. Shearon, sisters Hildra F. Robinson and Billie J. Shepherd, and her husband of 62 years, William B. Hawkins. Survived by sister, Ruby N. Jarrell; and daughter, Linda (Mark) Edwards; sons, Bob (Cindy) Hawkins and Tim (Karen) Hawkins; and 3 grandchildren, Todd (Digna) Edwards and Austin and Caroline Hawkins. Ann was a devoted wife and mother who excelled at nurturing and entertaining friends and family. She was the consummate minister's wife, tirelessly supporting God's work and showing his love in any way possible. A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, November 5, 2012 at West Harpeth Funeral Home in Nashville, TN at 1 p.m. CST, with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. prior to the service at 1, the family will receive friends and family from 12-1 p.m. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
