Violet Rosalee Sheneman 1933—2018 Violet Rosalee Sheneman, age 85, of Rockford passed away peacefully Saturday September 8, 2018. Born in Wisconsin Dells, WI on August 16, 1933 to Clayton & Gladys Schultz (Stroud). An avid Cubs fan and longtime member of the Moose Club; Violet owned & operated a home daycare for 20 years. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Sheneman and James (Linda) Fowler; daughter, Ann (David) Hutsell; grandsons, Laurence Barr, Justin Sheneman and Shannon Hutsell; granddaughters, Cassandra and Brianna Hutsell; great grandsons, Cidney Collins-Barr and Oliver Blankenship; sisters, Lois Chilson, Wilma (Earl) Tennant, Sandi Coyle and Diane (Duane) Schultz; brothers, Clayton "Bub" Schultz and Duane (Barbara) Schultz; sister-in-law, Doris Schultz; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her husbands, Cliff Fowler and Ronald Sheneman Sr.; brothers, Gordon Schultz and Larry Schultz; and her parents. Graveside Committal Service held on Wednesday September 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, 1101 Auburn Street, Rockford, with Rev. Judy Hipple officiating. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
