In memory of
Thomas LeRoy Pinder
Thomas LeRoy Pinder, of Punta Gorda Fla., returned to his heavenly home, August 22, 2018. If you're reading this; then it's because I'm not here. I was supposed to go first, but God had other plans. Don't fret because I have gone home, and I am at peace. Now with family and friends that have gone before me. Hugging my wife, my sons Arthur and Thomas, my brother David, and my great Aunt Catherine. Mom and Pop are here too so it's going to be one hell of a party. My old body is whole again. Had a wonderful life of 75 years with many adventures. Fixing up old cars with my two best friends Dale and Gale. Even my time in the United States Navy taught me about electronics and let me see the world for a short time. Earned a business degree at the University of Miami and married the love of my life. My life can be summed up by, God blessed me being born in America and having the best family and friends anyone could ask for. Married the girl, who when I saw her for the first time I knew that someday I was going to marry her. Had exactly 48 years of marriage and was able to achieve the things we dreamt about. We built a beautiful home, had some kids, and was even blessed with a grandson. As my Aunt Catherine used to say: "Here's to us, whose any better." A celebration of my life will be held at the house that Dottie and I built. Join us on November 3rd at noon for one final cookout at the homestead. Bring a dish and a fun story to tell. There will be plenty of laughs, music, and a good time. Ps. If I forgot something, it is too late now.
