Ruth "Yvonne" McNulty
In Loving Memory Ruth 'Yvonne' McNulty Aug. 14, 1923 - Jan. 10, 2015 Our mother passed away at Salem Hospital with her family by her side. Even though it's been five years, we miss and think of her every day. She was born in Bemidji, Minn., to Oliver and Mildred Crowell, a blacksmith and a school teacher. She married her high school sweetheart, Gordon, and moved to California and then Washington before becoming Oregonians in 1957. She worked for Tradewell and Albertsons for many years. She was a member of the Milwaukie Elkettes and enjoyed playing golf, bowling, camping, fishing with her 'lucky' pole, and playing cards. She and our dad enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the U.S. as well as trips to Europe, always bringing back special souvenirs for everyone. They were also snow birds who enjoyed the San Diego and Arizona weather. She was an avid Blazers fan who rarely missed a game. She is survived by her 'darling daughter' Paula Arthur (Ben) and her 'dear boy' Dale; special grandchildren, Shelley Greiner (Mike), Jason Arthur (Myoung-lan), Joseph and Kyle McNulty; great-grandchildren, Jack, Olivia, Alex and Bella; siblings, Paul Hoggatt and Yvonne Ulrich. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Gordon; son, James; and sister, Avis McLean. We thank our mom and grandma for all her love and support and for always putting family first.
