John Frederick Frisbey
John Frederick Frisbey born February 16, 1927, passed peacefully with his family by side on September 4, 2018. John was born and raised in Independence, Mo. After graduating from William Chrisman High School in 1945, John served his country by joining the Navy. He was a proud veteran who served in WW2 & the Korean War. He was a survivor of two atomic bomb tests. John is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Ruth Baker Frisbey, 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Son, Doug Frisbey and wife Delila and daughter Micki Frisbey. 3 daughters, Carol Lopez and family, Ronda Bowling and sons Ryan and Justin Caddell, Diane Frisbey and family Ben Compton, wife Nikki and daughter Olivia and Nathan Compton. No funeral or visitation is planned at this time. Arrangements: Royer's New Salem, Independence MO 816-796-8600.
