Jerry David Walcher
Jerry David Walcher, 81, of Lake Forest passed away peacefully at Hoag Hospital on September 10, 2019. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dianne, three children, five grandkids, extended family and countless friends who all loved him dearly. Born in Wichita, KS, the youngest of four children to Inez Leone and Loren Dale Walcher on June 27, 1938, Jerry was a fierce fighter overcoming polio at 5 and becoming an accomplished basketballer as a young man. Pursuing his dream to be an architect, Jerry attended Kansas State remaining a die-hard Wildcat his entire life. Jerry's legacy is his loving family and the passion he brought to creating award-winning homes for other loving families which will dot our landscape for a long time to come!
