age 97, of Anniston, a native of Cuba, Alabama, passed away on September 4, 2019. The visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2019 at Golden Springs Baptist Church in Anniston. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Elmwood Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home with Dr. Roland Brown officiating. A private burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing. Mrs. May is preceded in death by her husband: Tom May, Jr.; and daughter: Evelyn May. She is survived by her children: Gail Acton (Doug), Thomas May (Donna), Melanie Simison (Merrill), Steve Anderson, and Stephanie Ellis (Inman); grandchildren: Shannon Parten, Amber Smith, Jordan Simison, Kaitlin Simison, Whitney Davis, Cannon Acton, Janie Ellis, Emily Mundy, and Jennifer Peebles; and numerous great grandchildren.
