Agnes C. Limberg
Agnes C. Limberg WEATHERLY Agnes C. Limberg, 98, formerly of Palmer Township, PA, and Wilson Borough, PA, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2020 at Heritage Hill Senior Community, Weatherly, PA. She was the beloved wife of the late Laird A., "Bud" Limberg, who passed away July 20, 1972. Born in South Side Easton on Jan. 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Mary E. (Deck) Straub, and the last surviving member of her family. Agnes lived almost all of her life in the Easton area and was a long time member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. She worked at Pomeroy's Department Store for many years. Agnes enjoyed traveling the world, spending winters in Florida and visiting family "out west", playing bingo and watching her children and grandchildren's sporting events and all their other activities. Her life was always centered around her family. Agnes is survived by her loving children: Michael L. (Louise) of Hazleton, PA, Laird A. II (Cindy) of San Diego, CA, Jeffrey A. (Lori) of Mesa, AZ, Dorothy J. Moser of Wayne, Karen B. (Robert) Wright of Bethlehem Township, PA, Mary C. (John) Thompson of New Tripoli, PA, Patricia A. (James Gilbert) Limberg of Bedford, TX, Diane L. (Dominick) Piperata of Palmer Township; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by an infant son, Robert; granddaughter, Stephanie Abel-Ditkosky, brothers, John and Charles Straub, and sisters, Margaret Mattes, Bertwina (Sis) Straub, Mary Brotzman and Frances Arnold.
