KING AND QUEEN COURT HOUSE - Carey Covington Hall, 88, of King and Queen Court House, Va., died Wednesday, October 30, 2002. He was the Clerk of Circuit Court of King and Queen County for thirty-two years and Deputy Clerk for seventeen and a half years. Mr. Hall was a founding member of Central King and Queen Volunteer Fire Department and King and Queen Ruritan Club. He was a lifelong member of Old Church. Mr. Hall was a member of Arlington Masonic Lodge and a Director of Southside Bank. He is survived by his wife of sixty two years, Catherine Beane Hall; two daughters, E. Harwood Hall and Susan H. Gresham, both of King and Queen Court House; two sisters, Eleanor E. Hall of Richmond and Myrtis H. O’Sullivan of Newport News; three grandsons, Steven C. Burruss and his wife, Mona, of Gloucester, B. Scott Gresham and his wife, Chris, of Lynchburg, J. Bryan Gresham of King and Queen Court House; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, David and Amber Burruss. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Old Church United Methodist Church, Shanghai, Va. Interment will be Immanuel Episcopal Church, King and Queen Court House. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at Old Church. Memorials may be made to West Point Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Inc., Box X, West Point, VA 23181 or Immanuel Episcopal Church Cemetery Fund or Building Fund, HC 74, Box 2455, King and Queen Court House, VA 23085 or Central King and Queen Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
