Family-Placed Funeral Notice BETTY BENDER SHEARER “GRANNY” February 26, 1922-July 28, 2004 Age 82, of Palm Springs, FL, passed away after a long battle of cancer at Hospice of Palm Beach County. She was born in Confluence, PA, daughter of Parke & Clema (Parnell) Bender. She was predeceased by her husband Jack H. Shearer, Sr. (July 4, 1975). Granny was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt & friend, she has touched the lives of so many people. She will be dearly missed by her 3 children, Sally Whalen (Mike) WPB, FL, Scott Shearer (Kathy) Orlando, FL and Jack Shearer Jr., WPB, FL; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Robert “Bob” Bender (Nancy), W. VA and a host of family & friends. A special thank you to the yellow team & the nursing staff at Hospice. A family memorial service will be held in August in All County Funeral Home & Crematory, Lake Worth, FL. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in her memory to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., WPB, FL 33407.
