Rayni Dawn (Smith) DeFillippo, 45, of Jeannette, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 6, 2021, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born July 2, 1975, in Greensburg, a daughter of Ronald and Beverly (Timko) Smith Sr. Rayni was formerly employed by Penn Tex Stone & Co., the Greg Shure Law Firm, as well as being a notary. Most recently, Rayni was employed by the RB Vet. Co. in Carnegie as a project coordinator. Rayni enjoyed many hobbies, including music, gardening and decorating. She also enjoyed sports and followed her children to many sports events that included baseball, softball, and football. A devoted wife and mother, Rayni touched the lives of so many and will be missed beyond words. She is survived by her husband, Glenn P. DeFillippo Jr.; her children, Cole D. and Gabrielle A. DeFillippo; her siblings, Ronald Smith Jr., Tina Bergman and Frank E. Bergman III; her father- and mother-in-law, Glenn P. Sr. and Linda (Hanna) DeFillippo; sisters-in-law, Jamie Miller and husband, Ed, and Dena Kelly and husband, Brian; nieces, Marlie, Brandi, Kate, Hanna, Jessica, Lauren, Elin and Madeline; nephews, Alec and Patrick; her special close friends, Chantelle Yamrick, Kelly Pezze, Jennifer Hughes, Traci Powers, Kelly Herman and Denise Brean; and her fur babies, Link and Winnie. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Marie Timko, and James and Mary Smith; and brother Rodney Lorne Bergman. Rayni's family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette.
