Shinika "Noonie" Patrice Baker-Bell was born on March 13th 1974, the daughter of Paul Edward Washington and Sibyl Ann Baker Mikell in New Orleans, LA. She gave her life to Christ in 1990 at the First Emanuel Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA. Shinika entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the age of 47. In addition to her parents, Shinika also leaves to cherish precious memories, her children, Mark Anthony Baker and Y-Kala Alease Bell; siblings, Paul Edward Baker, Shawn Alexander Baker and Alfred Lee Mikell, Jr; sister-in-law, Sunjay Nicole Baker; nieces and nephews, Paul Edward Laymon, Ja'Rielle Alexandria Jackson, Ma'Kayla Alexis Baker, Shawn Alexander Baker, Jr., Sundoria Dogan, Kylon Baker, Sydnei Dogan, Camryn LeAnne Baker, Londyn Gabrielle Baker, and Paije Elise Baker,as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Shinika was preceded in death by her daddy, Alfred Lee Mikell. Relatives and friends; Pastor, officers and members of First Emanuel Baptist Church are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration of Life Service honoring the late Shinika "Noonie Patrice Baker-Bell will be held at First Emanuel Baptist Church, 1829 Carondelet Street, New Orleans, LA 70003 on Friday, June 11 2021 at 11 AM, Pastor Charles J. Southall, III, Officiating. Visitation 9 am in the church. Interment private. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
