Jack C. Hayes
Jack C. Hayes passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the age of 79. He was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Kenner. Father of Robert Hayes, Theresa Hayes and Dawn Hayes. Son of the late Ethel Garner Tassin and Raymond L. Hayes, Sr. Brother of Raymond Hayes, Jr. and Jimmie Ell Hayes. Also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews. Jack grew up in the Irish Channel and graduated from Fortier High School. He stayed loyal to Winn Dixie for his entire career until retirement. He was a member of the TAK fraternity as well as a very active member in the running community which included NOTC, NORSI, and Chalmette track clubs. As he slowed down, he became a full time volunteer for all of these running organizations. He was a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who had an infectious smile and a kind and compassionate heart. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Monday, June 14, 2021. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers make a donation to the charity of your choice.
