Joseph C. Lilly III PHILLIPSBURG Joseph C. Lilly III, 69, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill, PA. Born and raised in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Maybelle (Devereaux) Lilly. Joseph was a 1969 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, where he participated in Basketball and Track, he also attended Trenton State College. He worked for many years at Ingersoll-Rand, Cameron in Phillipsburg, and Moore Products and Deltron Inc., in Montgomery County, PA. He was also a big fan of Notre Dame, the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He enjoyed the casinos with his wife, was an avid golfer and enjoyed monthly get-togethers at Youpa's Barber Shop in Phillipsburg. He enjoyed collecting stamps and sports memorabilia and rocking out to the Rolling Stones and 60's and 70's music. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, the former Doreen Rounsaville; his sister-in-law, Kate Pfeiffer; his cousins, John Peter Devereaux and wife, Sarah, Mary Ann Kootsares and husband, Charles, Janie Buenzly and husband, Robert, Christopher Piro, David L. Pysher and wife, Donna, Jeanne L. Pysher and companion, Paige; his nieces, his nephews, and his many friends. There is a viewing scheduled for Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a Funeral Service to directly follow.
