Richard "Dick" Landess Canandaigua - Richard "Dick" Landess, age 90, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, May 27, 2021, with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Donna (Egger) Landess; three children, Bradley (Christine) Landess, Aaron (Jodi) Payne and Jennifer Greaser; and grandchildren including, Maggie; sister, Tania (Michael) Crosby. He was predeceased by his brother, Walt Knoedl. Dick was born in Garfield, NJ and has been a longtime resident of Canandaigua. He worked many years in the auto industry, formerly owned a construction company and most recently owned Dick's Bowling Pro Shop and Trophies in Canandaigua. Dick was an avid bowler and golfer. He was a member of the Professional Bowlers Association and has bowled 21 perfect games. Dick won several medals for bowling in the Empire State Senior Games and has been inducted into the local Bowling Hall of Fame. He enjoyed dancing, music and spending time with family and friends. Services are private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN, 38105.
