Lorraine Ann Hesuse On the evening of Friday, May 7, 2021, Lorraine Ann Hesuse went to Glory. She was surrounded by loved ones in Santa Fe, NM. Lorraine was born on August 31,1948 in Nageezi, NM, during harvest time. She was Naakai Dine'é and born for Tódich'ii'nii. Lori was a skilled and accomplished contemporary silversmith and beadwork artist. She sold on the Plaza at the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe and in Indian Market for 40 years. People from all over the world have collected her artwork. Lori was a devoted follower of the Lord. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to dance, sing and enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guerito and Mabel P. Hesuse; brothers Andrew Hesuse and Henry Hesuse; and sister Nancy Hesuse. She is survived by her daughters Jeraldine Arviso Gurule and Cheryl Arviso both of Santa Fe; grandchildren Jerald Aldaco of Santa Fe and Helen Aldaco of Bryan, TX; great-children Evangeline and Alfredo Aldaco; sisters Kathy Kanaswood of Page, AZ, Ernestine Hesuse of Bloomfield and Marlene Murphy of Carson. She also had multiple nieces, nephews and extended family that loved her. Graveside services will be held on Friday May 14th at 10 AM at Brethren in Christ Mission in Otis, NM.
