BLY, Debra Ann (Age 63) On May 3, 2021 Debbie Bly, loving wife of Dan Bly and mother of four children passed away at age 63. Debbie was born on February 28, 1958 in Everett WA. She schooled in Everett prior to graduating from EWU, and receiving her Master of Social Work degree from Walla Walla College in 1995, and LCSW designation in 2010. Debbie married Dan Bly of Spokane on July 25, 1981. Debbie worked with the YWCA Domestic Violence Shelter, and served as Senior Clinician with the Spokane Mental Health Crisis Response Team. Moving to Gilbert, AZ, in 2009 she worked as a Mental Health Professional at the women's correctional facility in Maricopa County. She retired due to complications from Alzheimer's Disease in 2016. She had more empathy for persons with mental illness or disability than anyone we knew. She made a difference in the lives of others. She will be missed. Debbie is survived by her husband Dan of Gilbert; her sister Jackie Adams of Chandler AZ; stepchildren Teri Delany, Tricia Cobb and Alan Bly all of Spokane; daughter Tia Bly of Mesa AZ; four grandchildren and three nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Delilah LeGros, and sister Pat LeGros. A celebration of life reception will be held in lieu of a memorial service at the home of Tricia and Nathan Cobb, 2306 S. Carnine Court, Spokane Valley, WA, on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
