Marc Hogan, age 58, of Street, Maryland passed away on May 8, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Richmond, Virginia, he was the son of the late John Hogan and Marguerite Voorhies. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he received the Good Conduct Medal, the Sea Service Deployment ribbon and the Navy Expeditionary Medal. Marc and his wife loved to travel, one of their favorite places to visit was St. Marten, he was an outdoorsman loved nature and taking care of the local wildlife, he was the families private pyrotechnician as he loved to put on firework shows. Marc is survived by his wife of 17 years Lori Hogan; son, Ryan C. Hogan; stepson, Adam Zimmerman; parents-in-law, Robert and Nancy L Rhoads; brother-in-law, Joseph Rhoads; sister-in-law, Karen Rhoads; two brothers, Steve Hogan and Brian Hogan (Nancy); sister, Carroll Hogan; three step-grandchildren, Karl, Robert and Aiden Zimmerman. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home, Jarrettsville, Maryland on Saturday, May 15, 2021, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at McComas Celebration of Life Center at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Boy Scouts of America; Juniata Valley Council, 9 Taylor Drive, Reedsville, PA 17084.
