Robert B. Brown Sr. SEBRING, FL - Robert B. Brown Sr. 77, of Sebring, FL, formally of La Crosse, WI, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in Wauchula, FL. He was born in La Crosse on April 11, 1943 to Edgar and Doris (Langhofer) Brown. Robert married Marilyn Every and they later divorced. He then married Lynnette Rodenkirch who proceeded him in death. Robert was a proud volunteer of the Shelby Fire Department for 24 years. He worked various jobs for the Town of Shelby, he also worked as a butcher and a salesman. Bob's greatest joy was owning and nurturing LYNKRIS Patio Furniture. After retirement Bob passionately helped start the men's auxiliary at the VFW in Sebring, FL. He liked to play cards, hunt, and fish. He was famous for his fish fry, Chiverek, and his Chicken Q recipe. Robert is survived by his children: Robert (Cathy) Brown Jr, Becky (Randy) Bion, Buffy (Al Noel) Brown and Lynnette's son, Preston Rodenkirch; also, his grandchildren: Jessica (Steve) Schmitz, Wyliam (Rebecca) Wuensch, Alyson (Matthew) Amos, Brandon Brown, and a special step grandson Joshua (Elizabeth) Bion; his great grandchildren: Hazel Schmitz, Kathryn Wuensch, Sawyer Amos, and Aurora Brown; a sister, Paula Whitt; a brother, James Tumaniec. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Rosie. The family will host a celebration of life "Happy Hour" on Saturday, May 15, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Moose Lodge, 1932 Ward Ave La Crosse, WI. Memorials will be donated to the Shelby Fire Department for training purposes. The sun is shining and the birds are singing in Heaven for you, Dad. We love you.
