Walter R. Welsh Somerdale - Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on May 4, 2021 at the age of 88. He was a resident of Somerdale NJ for 64 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Gloria and daughter Nan. He is survived by his sister Eleanor Standiford and Brother-in-law David Standiford, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Divina. Walt was an Army Korean War Veteran. He was a Rutgers graduate and received his Master's degree from George Washington University. He retired after 30 years from the Federal Government as a procurement executive with the defense logistics agency. He was a dyed in the wool Eagles fan and a devout Golfer. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday, May 14, from 11:00 am to 12:30pm at the Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Route 73 South at Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. A funeral service will be at 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Samaritan PO box 71425 Philadelphia, PA 19176-1425
