Karen Ann Taylor 1943-2021 Karen Ann Taylor passed away on Tuesday April 27, 2021 at the age of 77. Her final days were spent with family members, some of whom traveled far to express their love of and appreciation for her. Her last years were spent at the caring and loving senior facility, Marquis Shasta, in Redding, CA. Karen was born in Los Angeles, CA on October 20, 1943 to her proud parents Heleen Coleman and Harry Coleman. Karen was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed beach living, dancing, cooking and gardening as well as many other community projects and volunteer work in the South Bay beach cities and in later years in Redding, CA. She was a loving homemaker, restaurant and bar owner who hosted countless dinner parties and events. Karen lived life with joy and a wonderful sense of humor. She was a very caring friend and family member to all that knew and loved her, she never missed sending a card for a birthday, special event or holiday. She lived in Hermosa Beach, CA for many happy years and spent her last 22 years in Redding, CA near her loving sister Arlene Pantalone, brother-in-law Albert Pantalone and niece Angela Tatro. Karen is survived by her daughter Teri Smith, two granddaughters Cindy and Casey Shields, sister Arlene Pantalone and brother Michael Coleman as well as many nieces and nephews. Karen will be greatly missed by family and friends.
