Renee M. Blake
Renee M. (Winchus) Blake, 58, of Taunton, passed away Tuesday April 27, 2021 Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston. Renee was born in Brockton the daughter of the late John and Anna (Sakovitch) Winchus. She was a graduate of Brockton High School class of 1980 and them graduated from the Somerville Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Ms. Blake began working in the Boston and area and then worked at Morton Hospital for twenty-five years, retiring in 2015. Renee cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the beach, geo caching, cooking and taking cruises. Survivors are two daughters: Allison E. Blake and Emily A. Blake both of Taunton; two grandchildren; Maliyah and Naomi Williams; two sisters: Karen Lipofsky of Maine and Donna Tanguay of Rhode Island; along with several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours for Mrs. Blake will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 4-7pm in the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, with a Funeral Service being held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 10am in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
