Sandi was born in Stamford, Connecticut on January 6, 1945, to Harriett Kimball Frothingham and Harry A. Frothingham. Sandi spent her childhood in Mexico City where her father worked as a salesperson. The Frothingham family came to live in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1955. Sandi was an old school bartender, a true salt of the earth woman. She tended bar at places most have never heard of nowadays, Nooners, Gin Mill, and a few left standing Keg Room, Chats, and Chances R. Mom was a day shift bartender who brought people in just to see her and have a few laughs and sometimes tears. She took pride in her work and enjoyed it until her retirement. Mom was the "never met a stranger" type of person. She could be your friend for a moment standing in line at the store or your friend for decades on end. She was just that type of person. Mom was also one of the strongest most steadfast people you could meet. She took life's difficulties with a head up shoulders back attitude and never slowing down. Sandi, Mom, found her peace on April 27, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Harriett and Harry Frothingham and her mother-in-law Rosa Lee Horowitz. All who knew her know she has found peace with her beloved daughter Andrea "Andi" . We can rejoice knowing they are together again. She will be sorely missed and survived by her husband and best friend Gary Horowitz and their fur baby Rosco. Her brother Kim Frothingham and her sister of her heart Collette (Doc) Henry. Her children: Denise (JR) Hagler, Lance (Rebecca) Ellington, Michael Waldo, Jennifer (John) Gansley, and Crystal (David) Massie. Her legacy lives on with her grandchildren Johnny, Madison, Chelsy, Bailey, Thomas, Nathaniel, Scarlett, William, William, Benjamin, and Christopher and a sprinkle of few adorable great-grandchildren. All who knew her and loved her dearly will carry their individual memories of her in their hearts. This is where Heaven truly is in the hearts and minds of those who loved you. She loved her family, friends, neighbors she loved us all. The price of love is grief, and we will grieve her deeply. A memorial will be held on the beach by Newport Pass at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers those who would like to please donate in Andi's name to the Nueces County Victims Memorial Garden @ 6401 S. Padre Island Drive Corpus Christi Texas 78412 or nuecescountyvmg@gmail.com We Love You Mawmaw
