M. Madeline Martino
M. Madeline Martino, 95, of Rocky Hill, formerly of Wethersfield, peacefully passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 just shy of her 96th birthday. She was born April 22, 1925 and raised in Wethersfield, one of two daughters to the late Luco R. and Mary (Vicino) Martino. After many years of service, Madeline retired from CIGNA Insurance Co., Claims Dept., traveling the country to help those in need. Madeline enjoyed her many trips to Italy, visiting family with her sister Eleanor as well as their many trips to various countries around the world. The family would especially like to thank her caregiver, Dakota Grant Wynter. A devout catholic, she was a longtime faithful communicant of Corpus Christi Church, of Christ the King Parish, Wethersfield. Madeline is survived by many cousins and godchildren. Along with her parents, Madeline was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor M. Rinaldo. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Madeline's life will be held at Christ the King Parish (Corpus Christi Church) on Friday, April 23rd at 10 a.m. Burial at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield will immediately follow. The church service and burial will be for the family only. Services will be livestreamed via the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel of Wethersfield, Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, donations in Madeline's memory are suggested to Mikey's Place Playground, c/o Mary Daversa, 5 Grist Mill Road, Wethersfield, CT. 06109.
