Scott A. Friday, 52, of Bennetts Valley Highway, Byrnedale, PA, died Monday, April 12, 2021 at Highland View Healthcare after a lengthy illness. A son of Edna (Beck) Armagost of Byrnedale and the late Francis Friday, he was born on September 7, 1968 in DuBois, PA. Along with his mother, Scott is survived by his best friend, Edward Lockwood of DuBois; two brothers, Anthony "Tony" Friday of Byrnedale and Russell (Lisa) Friday of California; a step-brother, Keith Armagost of Brockway; a step-sister, Katie (Josh) Hamaker of Penfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Scott was predeceased by a brother, Brian Friday, Sr; a nephew, Brian Friday, Jr.; and his step-father, Lennie Armagost. Scott graduated DuBois Area High School, worked as a truck driver and a truck driver trainer and enjoyed motorcycling. There will be no public visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will be accepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com. The Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield has been entrusted with final arrangements.
