Eleanor "Ellie" Szewcyk
Eleanor "Ellie" Szewcyk, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Ellie was born on June 7, 1934, in Manchester, New Hampshire. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Pasciak) Szewcyk also of Manchester, N.H. She grew up in the Queen city and graduated from Hesser Business College. This degree afforded her with the skills to embark on a lifelong career at Raytheon Corporation. In addition, she was a dedicated member of the Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church of Manchester, N.H. In her younger years, she travelled the world and enjoyed taking in the sites and the many cultural experiences. She loved California so much in her younger years that she later returned and lived there for some time after she retired. She is survived by her sister Marlene Puglisi of Ocala, FL; brother Richard Szewcyk of Stoughton, M.A.; brother- in-law Robert St. Cyr of Merrimack, N.H.; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be a Catholic Mass at 11:00am on April 17 at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Manchester, N.H., and burial immediately following at Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic cemetery in Goffstown, N.H.
