Robert Murdock and Mildred "Sid" "Bob" Murdock
Bob Murdock, born October 14, 1926, died peacefully at home February 6, 2021. Sid Murdock, born September 13, 1927, died peacefully at home April 10, 2021. They both died of natural causes. They are survived by their sons, Bruce (Judie) Murdock and Steve (Pam) Murdock, grandchildren, Todd (Rachel) Murdock, Dan (Jenn) Murdock, Molly Murdock and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Keagan, Rory and Quinn. A Mass for Bob has been held. Funeral Mass for Sid Murdock will be at Holy Name Catholic Church in Birmingham, Thursday April 15, 2021 at 10am. Bob and Sid were members of Holy Name Church for 40 years and BAC for over 60 years. Bob was an avid golfer, tennis, paddle tennis, and squash player. Sid was an avid bridge player and played in many bridge groups. They had a cottage on Walloon Lake since 1965 and belonged to Petoskey-Bay View Country Club and Walloon Country Club. They loved spending time on Walloon Lake. Bob and Sid were married for 71 years and lived a full and loving life. The family is comforted knowing they are together again in heaven with The Lord.
