Mary Louise Connolly April 17, 1927 - April 1, 2021 Haltom City, Texas - Mary L. Connolly, 93, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday in Glenview Baptist Church. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. at Mount Olivet Chapel. Mary was born April 17, 1927 to A.P. and Gertrude Stout Roberts, in Greensboro, NC. She met her husband Bill Connolly, in Greensboro, NC while he was in the service at a USO get together. They later married on May 5,1947 when they settled in Haltom City, TX to raise their family. She will be remembered as the rock of the family. She had the biggest heart, loved her family and family get togethers, she always loved keeping up with everyone's lives. Mary was a devout Christian, member of Glenview Baptist Church, and also taught Sunday School in the earlier years. She loved spending her time reading her bible, working crossword puzzles, texting, and seeing pictures of the grandchildren. Everyone looked forward to her daily texts and phone calls. Mary is survived by her husband, Bill of 73 years; her daughters, Debi Piland, husband, Mark, Diane Killingsworth, husband, Floyd; and son, John. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
