Perry Leaming, Jr. Albertville, AL - Perry Leaming, Jr., 91, of Albertville, AL passed away on March 29, 2021 in Huntsville Hospital. Born September 19, 1929 in Baton Rouge, LA, he moved to Nashville, TN at age 16 where he lived until moving to Alabama in 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Leaming, Sr. and Katherine Y. Leaming, and by his spouse of 54 years, Dorothy M. Leaming. Perry was a member of the United States Air Force and a graduate of Vanderbilt University. He enthusiastically shared his interests in flying, astronomy, sailing, music, photography, writing and cooking. He leaves behind his four children, Elizabeth Leaming Starnes (Butch), Linda Y. Leaming (Phurba Namgay), Clark C. Leaming (Kathryn), and Perry Mitchell Leaming (HelenAnne), along with seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held May 2 at Guntersville Memorial Chapel. Visitation is from 12 until 2, followed by a memorial service.
