Donald W. Richardson Dec. 12, 1932 - March 29, 2021 Don passed away peacefully March 29, 2021. Don grew up in Montavilla and graduated from Benson High School in 1951. He was an active lifetime member of Montavilla Methodist Church and the Mazamas where he participated in mountain climbing, hiking, and skiing. For many years, Don was a member of Mt. Hood Ski Patrol and was a certified ski instructor. A highlight of his teens was a father-son skiing trip to Sun Valley via the train, truly high-style in the late 1940's. Don was a meat cutter for many years before becoming a meat inspector for the Federal Government. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Pearl Richardson; son, Larry D. Richardson; and wife, Pam Richardson. He is survived by daughter, Terri Robinson; son, Kenny Richardson; sister, Sheryl-Jean Rogers and husband, Bill of Kent, Wash., and longtime companion, Karen Edmonds. He had four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Due to Covid-19, there will be no public memorial service.
