Walter J. Fehnel Sr. EASTON Walter J. Fehnel Sr., 76, born April 23, 1944, passed away March 5, 2021. Born in Easton, PA, to Robert and Grace (Hunt) Fehnel, he resided in Plainfield Township, PA, for over 40 years. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1962 and he served four years in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked many years for S.I. Handling Systems in Forks Township before retiring on a disability. He was a lifetime member of The Marine Corps League of Easton, the American Legion of Nazareth and the V.F.W. in Wind Gap. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marcia J. (Tutko) Fehnel; a daughter, Theresa (Fehnel) Gunderman and husband, Lawrence; a son, Walter J. Fehnel Jr. and his wife, Amy. He also leaves behind two granddaughters, Tiara (Fehnel) Robishaw and her husband, Chance, and Briana Fehnel; and two great-granddaughters, Mia and Chole. In addition, he has three step-grandsons, Tyler Gunderman, Alex and Jordan Markham. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Carol Fehnel, Marylou Tutko and Elaine Tutko; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Fehnel. Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
