Myerl Flint Jr. Boonville - Myerl "Skinny" Flint Jr., age 98, passed away on April 3, 2021 at his residence. Myerl is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Flint and his sisters, Mary Flint Noble & June Flint Warner. Myerl is survived by his daughter, Coral Lee Flint Laflen; son, Richard N. Flint; grandchildren, Travis (Heather) Laflen, Sam (Andrea) Byers, Amanda Laflen, Nathan (Bobbie) Flint & Chris (Alesia) Flint; great-grandchildren, Alisha Byers, Alex Flint, Cameron Flint & Landon Flint; sisters, Jean Flint Williams & Betty Flint Alexander; nephews, Robert "Bobby" (Lois) Noble & Dennis (Paula) Gordon; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends & former co-workers. Myerl was a World War II veteran, a member of the Army Corp. of Engineers who built air strips in Europe. He was a UMWA welder, worked at the Lynnville Coal mine, built water-towers and served on iron ore ships on the Great Lakes. He was a member of the Chandler United Methodist Church, a Mason, and a Hadi Shriner. Myerl loved fishing, hunting, traveling with his wife and helping others. Memorial Service with Masonic Rites 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at BRADLEY'S COLONIAL CHAPEL 1005 E. Main Street Boonville, IN. A gathering will begin at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions are preferred to Hadi Patient Transportation Fund for the Shriner's Children's Hospital. Condolences may be sent to www.bradleyscc.com
