Samuel B. Mummert 79 of Harrisburg, died Friday, March 26, 2021. Samuel was born in Harrisburg and was the son of the late Samuel and Florence Mummert. He was the retired owner/operator of Samuel B. Mummert Plumbing. He was a 1960 graduate of Central Dauphin High School and was active with the alumni assn. He was a member of Colonial Park Fire Co., Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church and it's property committee. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a veteran of the US Navy. Samuel is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen N. Mummert; his daughters, Shari Iannelli of Reading, Danelle (Jeff) Davis and Leann (Dino) Magaro, both of Harrisburg; his sons, Samuel A. Mummert of Carlisle, Glenn (Dian) Lehman, Sr of Harrisburg and Keith (Karen) Lehman of Halifax; nineteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; his sister, Kathy (Lee Weishan of Middletown; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private for the immediate family. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Lingelstown Rd., Harrisburg. Those wishing to attend are asked to adhere to the COVID 19 restrictions and masks are required. Memorial Contributions may be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1214 Crosby Street, Harrisburg, Pa. 17112 or to Colonial Park Fire Co., 433 S Houcks Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
