Catherine Lorraine Culler 'Very respected and well-loved' Catherine Lorraine Culler was born December 3, 1946 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Stella Culler and Samuel McPherson. Lorraine, Cathy, and Bunny "as she was lovingly known as" entered eternal rest March 26, 2021 in Newark, NJ. Lorraine was 74 years old. Lorraine resided in Jersey City, NJ for the first half of her life. She attended and graduated from P.S. 12 and Lincoln High School (Class of 1964). Lorraine attended Jersey City State College (currently known as New Jersey City State University). She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from Bloomfield College. Lorraine was employed by the Dartmouth House in Jersey City, NJ, U.S. Postal Service and various financial and non-profit institutions in Jersey City, NJ and in New York, NY. Lorraine resided in Newark and East Orange for the second half of her life. Lorraine was very respected and well loved by anyone she encountered. She had an amazing smile, endearing, engaging and affable personality. Lorraine was very well informed about life, politics, cooking, DIY projects and sewing. She was always willing to accommodate and assist anyone to overcome any obstacles in their life. If she could not immediately assist you, she would secure resources to point one in the right direction. Lorraine leaves to cherish her memory four children, her son Ledlie, and three daughters, Alicia (Courtney), Noelle, Ashley, her youngest brother Nedlie (Rosco) Conyers; grandsons Tramain Williams and Trenten Williams-Gray; great granddaughters Asiyah and Asada Williams. Lorraine leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Lorraine was predeceased by the love of her life, Noel Williams, sister Liddie Hagan, brothers Charles Conyers and Marvin Hill, loving grandmother Ravina Culler, mother Stella Culler, stepfather Ned Conyers Jr, brother in law Lawrence Hagan Jr., great grandson Asad Williams, Aunt Catherine Skipper Guils and Uncle Henry Skipper Guils. Lorraine will be deeply missed. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Cotton Funeral Service 1025 Bergen Street, Newark, NJ at 11AM, Viewing: 10-11AM Interment: Rosehill Cemetery, Linden ,NJ.
